MARTINEZ, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 93 Georgia College & State University student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2009-10 academic year.

COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Georgia College & State University women’s cross country team couldn’t have hoped for a better tune-up race to finish the regular season than to take second at the SMC Invitational, hosted by St. Michael’s College. Senior Heather Raines (Lawrenceville, Ga.) finished six seconds off the school record in the 5K, leading the team to finish tops among non-Division I schools in the race.

BERRY, Ga. – After a ‘false start’ of postponing the first meet of the season, the Georgia College & State University cross country squads travelled to Berry College to start the 2009 season today (Sept. 12). The men’s team took eighth of the 20-team field on the 8K race.
