INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced the finalists for 2017 Woman of the Year recently, with Georgia College Tennis’ Macy Polk (Powder Springs, Georgia) and Bobcat Softball’s Faith Flanders (Dublin, Georgia) listed among the Division II nominees.
AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 134 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, coming just two shy of the school-best 136 set last year. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2016-17 academic year.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Softball team (24-12, 10-2 PBC) completed a feat Friday they haven’t done since 2007, sweeping a doubleheader from No. 2 University of North Georgia (27-9, 7-4 PBC). The Bobcats beat the Nighthawks by 5-4 and 7-3 scores.
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior Faith Flanders (Dublin) of the Georgia College Softball team (22-12, 8-2 PBC) has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her efforts during the week ending March 19. This marks the first such honor for Flanders and the second for Bobcat Softball this season.
COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Georgia College Softball team (20-12, 6-2 PBC) returned to conference play Friday, splitting a doubleheader at Columbus State University (15-13-1, 3-1 PBC). The Bobcats took game one 3-2 before falling in the nightcap 6-1.
